Tyge Aleksander is a Transformation Life and Wellness Coach specializing in PTSD, C-PTSD and unresolved-trauma symptoms including anxiety and depression and is the founder of the Up-Level 30 coaching Program. Skilled in Trauma Coaching, Crisis Management, Wellness Coaching, Emergency Management, LGBTQ Coaching and Energy Healing, Aleksander earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Science, a master’s degree in Emergency and Disaster Management, a master's degree in Global and Cross-Cultural Medicine, and attended medical school at the American University of Antigua, College of Medicine. He is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health and Wellness Coach, a reiki master, and a meditation and mindfulness instructor and lives in New York City. Having been affected by trauma in his youth, having witnessed the attacks of 9/11, and the devastating effects of the war in Afghanistan and Serbia on his family, he’s dedicated his life to understanding and treating trauma-related issues. Most recently, Aleksander has signed on as Starwood Preferred Guest Hotels (SPG) new Fitness and Wellness Programs Director. In examining the role that wellness plays in hospitality, he hopes to improve and re-define the overall guest experience. According to him, since wellness never stops, hospitality is in an unique position to promote and champion the guest experience and people’s perception of wellness.
